This past Friday night Zoobilation 2015 presented by the Indianapolis Power & Light Company helped raise over 2 million dollars for the Indianapolis Zoo. Grindstone Charley’s Restaurant + Pub once again participated serving around 8,000 samples of its famous Prime Rib and Fried Green Tomatoes to around 5,000 people. The money raised helps the Indianapolis Zoo care and feed the animals and plants at the zoo. “It’s a really fun event and great exposure for our restaurants.” Said Owner/Director of Operations Blake Fogelsong. “We got a lot of great feedback from so many people.”
Kokomo Ribfest held in Foster Park
Grindstone Charley’s participated along with other top Kokomo Restaurants and took home the prize of Judge’s Choice – Best Ribs. “For us to win the top prize of best Ribs in Kokomo was a great honor. Our team put a lot of hard work into the event and it felt great to take home the top prize.” Said GM Larry Price
Part of the proceeds for the event go to the Carver Center in Kokomo.
